The Peter Plumb Memorial School
The Peter Plumb Memorial School is our largest project to date, and is the focus of our on-going attention. It will probably take five years from January 2005 to have the school fully operating on its beautiful site in western Kenya.
The new school, located near Nyamira (between Kericho and Kisii), is to be a high-quality mixed secondary school teaching children from the community of the ages of between 12 and 18. Its aims to provide good education and provide a springboard for children to go into trades or to university.
The school urgently needs financial assistance. On the attached pages you will find details of the costs of the projects that are planned, which include classrooms, school equipment, electricity installation and so on. Some of them you may be able to assist with. You may be surprised at how low the costs are, but all help is earnestly needed.
